Yay! bnadgeeksrus, I'm so glad that there's another McCaffrey junkie on this forum! Have you read any of her other books? Which DroP book is your favorite? Mine's either Dragonsdawn or Dragonsinger.

Well, it was Venice, but yeah, that's the one. Truly good writing. I read a few of the dragonrider series, but then I had 4 AP classes and kinda stopped. I finished "the white dragon" and stopped near the beginning of dragonsdawn.

Nimisha's Ship is also a good one of hers, too. The space travel/age stories she writes are all pretty well thought out, and I can't say that I don't like any of them.....

That was my problem this summer as well; I took too much time reading a really interesting book (The Sound Hoof by Lisa Simmons Lancaster) and didn't start my reading, then had to rush it at the end. But I also foud a new favorite book in my summer reading list! Brave New World by Adolus (?) Huxley. Wow, what a book....

I like the novels of Stephen King... One of the best novel that I've read was the "Carrie"....

I'm not a big fan of horror, but I did like King's novel "The Eyes of the Dragon" More of a supped up fairy tale, but it was good. 100 something chapters (or was it 200...) But they keep getting shorter. There are some really short ones near the end.

One of my frends is a big time Stephan King nerd and keeps on bugging me to get me to read one of his books. I'm not a big horror fan, but he is pretty exceptional )I've read short stories).
