For those who are taking/took AP American Lit

I can't decide whether or not to take it next year. English has never been my strong point. I took honors in freshman year, didn't get recommended for honors sophomore year so I took regulars, then I took honors this year. My teacher recommended my entire class for AP, but not everyone is taking it. I feel like I should take it because I have the opportunity, but I'm not too excited about taking an English AP. Oh and my school doesn't offer honors English IV so it's either regulars or AP. I can't decide. What did you guys like about the class? What didn't you like? How was the exam? Is it worth taking?

Oh and I'm also taking 3 other APs: Chem, Physics and Calc BC.
