ap history tests

Does anyone's teacher give tests on multiple chapters? Mine gave one on chapters 6-8 and that was the last multi chapter test we've taken. The other ap history teacher is giving a test on 8 chapters, and they take multi chapter tests all the time. I was just wonderin'...

Ours is usually on however many chapters are in a unit in Bailey. 50 questions one day, an essay the next day. I've only taken two tests so far (chapters 2-8 and chapters 9-12)... One I got a 78, the other a 65, so I barely pass. Yet, somehow, I have an 80-84 in the class. O_o

WE have only a half semester class  , but she is going to continue to teach us next semester after school so we will be ready for the AP test. :D Good luck to ya'll :D

Well my teacher has yet to do that so I feel pretty lucky. We do not get many essays because he feels our writing skills are garbage and do not meet his standards so for now we just have multiple choice. Their are usually 35 questions, 4 fill-in the blank, and two extra credits. I have to say I am glad my class is not as hard as yours.

Well, I have a pretty hard APUSH class. We are working on chapters 16-17 right now and will have a test on them within the next week. For every chapter he gives us a list of between 30-60 terms and between 5-15 essay questions. We don't have to write an essay for them, but we have to write a paragraph or so on each one. We have a quiz on every chapter, and then a test on between 2-4 chapters a time. Test and quizzes together make up 70% of the grade in that class. We do DBQ's every Friday.

We also have large assignments that count for 2 test grades each. We just did SFI's (Specific Factual Information) where you are given a statement and you have to fine specific information to support it. Right now we are doing a semester one review. (http://www.sauguscenturions.com/klipfel/apussem1rev.html). We also have to do a page for 73 different supreme court cases and a 2 page thing on every president. He also gave us a 36 page review thing. Hard class.

Our tests are really hard, but hey, it's A.P., right? They usually consist of 50 multiple choice questions, and about 10-20 completion questions. I've only gotten an A on one test to date - the rest have all been B's. I read the chapter at least three times before taking the test, and I still never do as well as anticipated. Again... it's A.P... and it's a killer. :p

Quel dommage!

We get test about every 4 chapters and each test is 100 questions (all AP questions from previous AP tests over the years) and then the next day we have a DBQ to do.

We always have tests on 3 chapters. They're always 80 questions (like the multiple choice section of the AP test) with five multiple choice answers. They're extremely hard. We actually have one tomorrow on chapters 19-21.

Our class consists of doing half a chapter each night and taking a quiz over it the next day. We have quizzes everyday except for test days. When we've completed three chapters we take a workbook quiz and then the next day's the test. He makes us work on a college level so that we'll be ready for the test at the end of the year. Third quarter will consist mostly of working on DBQs and our writing. We also have to learn the presidents in order, their terms in office, and their parties. Very stressful stuff.
