help! i need some advice or input on what to primarily say on how labor unions were successful or unsuccessful in helping improve workers conditions and wages during the late 18th century (1874-1900)

How did things change for workers during the time period? Were they better or worse for workers? Did conditions improve any?
Also, how about the Haymarket Riot, does that show any success or lack there of on the part of labor unions?
What about the Pullman Strike? You have federal troops breaking up a strike there.
That should help to start get you in the right direction. You need more, just say so.
