I need help on a DBQ and an Essay thing

Okay, yeah, I kinda fucked up real bad in my AP class. I'm really behind and I'd really appreciated it if someone could help me get back on track and help me out with making up these missing assignments. If I don't get an A in this course my dad is going to ground me for all of the next semester (Seriously, he said that. Twice.).

This is the DBQ I'm missing:

The Jacksonian Period (1824-1848) has been celebrated as the era of the "common man." To what extent did the period live up to its characterization? Consider TWO of the following in your response: Economic development, Politics, Reform movements.

The essay thing is a three to four page essay on either of these topics:

1. The text's authors label Poe, Hawthorne, and Melville "literary individualists and dissenters." Against what were the dissenting? Why?

2. Explain why the Mormons became a target for religious intolerance in America.
