Okay, I'm new here so all help would be appreciated :D . Anywho, I have to write an essay tommorrow as I take a test for chapters 6 & &, and the essay topic is simple "When is it okay to bail?". Basically, my teacher wants us to write an essay on when, in chapters 6 and 7, did they consider it okay to bail or what pushed them so far to their limits that they were forced to bail. Right now, Im trying to make some points to study and write, but I wanted your help as well. Thanks guys.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! What exactly do you mean when your talking about BAIL?
-Is it to surrender?
-To run away?
-Or is it to provide security?
Since its relative to Ch. 6 & 7 I'm assuming it is the first one. (This is, of course, in the American Pageant)
-Well most of the British forces were stuck in (YorkTown I think) under the command of Cornwallis.
-General Washington was being targeted however since their was a miscalculation of his location Cornwallis's plans for a Naval attacked failed. So in result to they were surrounded.
-In response to your question it is okay to Bail when your armies are going to get slaughtered. (However some people take pride in a last stand like in the Alamo)
-So....ummmmmm yeah.....be the bigger man and walk away....blah....I think I confused myself with this Gibberjabba....whatever I'll post it.
Well, I'm not sure if she meant Bail or Rebel...its one of those teachers that constantly makes mistakes, but information on both would be appreciated. Thanks much Silent!
Well this changes a lot....if it's rebel then another approach is needed for your question.
-You know all those acts pinned on the Colonist....Intolerable Acts, Stamp Acts, Tea Tax,.........Well those colonist felt that they needed to rebel cause they did not feel the need to pay for debt for England.
-However England felt that the Seven Years War (a.k.a The French and Indian War) was partly their fault (u know George Washington's honorable defeat at that fort)
-So since the colonist weren't paying taxes the British became more aggresive. But so did the colonist and they REBELLED against the british to obtain freedom and secede from England.
-Basically its O.K to rebel when you aren't meeting the demands you want......or...ummm....O.K look at it like this "If a bully takes your lunch money everyday, would you sit their and give it to him everyday, or would you tell the teacher, or attempt to beat the crap out of him"
-England=Bully
-Colonist=Defenceless Kid who already doesn't have much.....
-Hoped this helped....again I confuse myself.....
Wow, thanks a ton Silent.
