Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
Mostly like a college class for me. My teacher uses powerpoint presentations ever chapter and goes over the material verbatum. It's a difficult course but I love History.
An education isn't how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It's being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don't.

my teacher is amazing and has won best teacher in the state for well many years. She is amazing. She hits details, adds personal stories, and more than 85% of her student get 5's every year. We rotate weekly with free respnse, anazylze a doc, and a doc question, being given 1 hour, 10 mionutes, and 1.5 hours respectively. We have tons of fill in the blanks, study sessions at lunch and after school, plus extra credit movies to watch. I LOVE MRS CHUMBLEY!!!

My class is the most boring, pointless class. My teacher talks and talks and talks for 45 minutes almost everyday, then tests us on things that she didn't talk about. We used to have debates in the beginning of the year.. We've only done 2 DBQ's by ourselves and one as a group. We've done many essays. We watch movie clips tat have nothing to do with anything we're doing. Or at least I don't see it... I'm so worried about getting a 3 or better on the AP test. I don't see how it is possible. She's a good teacher, I just wish she would give structured notes and go by chronological order in history, she does themes. (We started at the Reconstruction and the next week we did the 50's).
sorry about that
one of teh other schols in my district starts at reconstrustion finishes it off then starts over again
personally my teacher does the hwole book al in a row
our calss can slam out a 8 or 9 paper DBQ in under 45 mins now that;'s how many we ahve done

Hey, I was wondering if you could direct me to a site that lists key terms, people and events for each topic. I am currently using The American Pageant text. I would like to be able to find them all at once rather than look up each term in the index in the back of the book and then proceed to the page on which it is discussed, or scavange for and underline them as I read-- Thanks.

Wow, your teacher is a real punk. We never get worksheets, unless they are going to be beneficial to the class-not just some stupid, usless excuse for the teacher to give superflous work-and is actually pivotal to the chapter been worked on. Apart from that, our teacher lectures for about three days, gives us a quiz or something on the third day, then we have our test whenever he feels like giving it to us(might be the fourth or fifth day).

my teacher teaches as if it were a college class. lec/notes evey day for 3 weeks then test on thrus. Eassy on fri.
In my AP class all we get are readings, and maybe a mini outline, but most of the time we have to take notes from lectures. Our tests usually range about 5 chapters.
