It doesn't really show in his grading as it does in his personality though.

no, mine uses his "ocd ness" in his essay grading. it seriously bites. we have not one single A in his class. not one. hes really hard. my apush teacher is really cool though, its just all the work he gives us is ......well...a lot of work. lol

Alright my teacher refuses to give worksheets it is a college level class. He gives us stuff to read over the night then lectures us on it. We take notes if we want but if we dont its our fault. I find this system to be excellent.

Yeesh! I only took AP because of a girl... ironically she isn't my class. Now my teacher makes it a living hell for guys cause she is sexist. We have daily lectures, but she has very little idea what she's doing. We've had to change notes format four times this year!

basically, there's nothing i can tell you about how to prepare... our teacher doesn't lecture, she gives worksheets that have nothing to do with the chapter... then we all fail the test, and we have one every week.

i'm a new member to course-notes.org and i'm a AP US History student in west palm beach, fl. i'm just wondering does any of ur teachers give out worksheets? because my teacher really thinks its a college class and lectures like he is at an AP convention and he would lecture for 3 days and give a massive test on the fourth. can i please get ur opinions on this

My teacher rocks. its the easiest class ive ever taken. this is all we do . he gives us a worksheet to do on friday, about 2 -3 hours long its due tuesday even for 1 or 2 chapters. We then review monday tuesday wed and on friday we have a test. Then the cycle repeats. NO NOTES!!!

My teacher is insanely organized, so everything we do has been planned out for months. We know what will happen every minute of the class. He thinks he's treating it like a college class, but there are no surprises. We get whole chapter readings at night, which really isn't a lot...it's just time consuming, and we get like 4 essays a quarter. It's basically like being in an honors class, but we get to write in our books.
