my ap class has some lectures but not as many compared to you. we read a chapter a week out of the text book and have a quiz every friday. But in class my teacher gives us outside notes on stuff not in the book, and lectures. We test about every 2-4 chapters

heck we take notes.. well he lectures.. on mon., wed., and fridays.. and do worksheets on tuesdays and then we do class discussions on thursdays.. our major tests over 2-4 chapters each are on test, they are on a day of mon, wed, or fridays... we only get grades on weekly essays, tests, and big essays.. he treats it as a college class

My teacher also lectures a lot but not for that long.We have not received a worksheet or written an essay in class, but we have had a test every three weeks since the beginning of school.

My apush class sucks. She gives us tons of worksheets and really hard tests. She also gives us reading quizzes during the weeks. She doesnt want to teach it so she is making it hard so nobody will take it next year. Quite a few times she gave us like 80 vocabulary words to do on the day of the test + all the worksheets that do not help me.

Well my class is here in cali, and we usually have long lectures and we take a lot of notes, but that doesnt really bother me 'cause i had ap euro. last year so yeah! I like note taking!! Well we do that but before we take a reading quiz, which consists of ten questions. Then we do the notes, then if our teacher has any work sheets then he'll give them to us and explain. The class also consists of a unit test, of 80 ?'s and only five i.ds'. We also have to do an ACORN, which is a study guide and a One-Pager, and Vocab.,the vocab. and acorn are due the day of the quiz and the one-pager is always the monday after the test ,so yeah thats what we have to do here in CALi!

My AP US class...well, I don't exactly know how to describe it. It doesn't feel too much like a college class. The only worksheets we get are our teacher's own reading notes from the book, which we use to follow along in the lectures. We get lectured for four days and have essay tests on the fifth or whatever the last day of the week happens to be (this week it's Wednesday, so two days of notes and a DBQ on Wednesday). We never have multiple choice ones until finals come around, and from what I've heard, they're just awfully difficult. I wish we had a few practice multiple choice tests...

We have to do outlines every week, too. Usually it's just one per week, but right now we're doubling up on a lot of chapters. Then we have to paraphrase the vocabulary out of the American Pageant workbook, and also define and give the importance of vocabulary terms that our teacher chooses out. He usually chooses around thirty to seventy terms.

My class is pretty easy. My teacher just talks about random things (lecture I guess..) but we have a syllabus so I just look on it and study at home.
