Pretty straight forward. I consider myself to be an independent, but leaning to the conservative side of things. A little libertarian in me, too.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!

What makes me think that Iraq is ready for democracy? howzabout the fact that over half (correct me if my number is incorrect) of the people in Iraq voted in their own elections and that an even greater percentage of women voted. And all of this in the face of terrorists swearing to kill those that went out to vote. Clearly someone wants democracy.
And let me remind you that those counntries that we supposedly "forced" into democracy and then moved right back to their old ways were when people like you forced us out and we left the people of the country to fight it for themselves that they were CONQUERED and then subjected. Everyone say Vietnam with me, since everyone is thinking it anyway. And remember, we did win in places like Korea and Vietnam, it was just that after we had, our Congress forced us back out and that is when we "lost."
Re-writing history all over the place, now aren't we? Or is it just selective memory? I think that Bush said something about you people recently...but you probably didn't care to listen.

Oh, and why we couldn't just assasinate Sadaam or something, how many decoys did he have? How hard was it to be sure that we had him in the end after all? You are the ones that claim that our intelligence is not all powerful and all knowing, selective memories again, huh?

I'm independent, but I have many liberal ideals. Come to think of it, I should have just put Liberal. Hmmm. How thoughtless of me.

Okay, I'm seriously confused about your reasoning. Please explain to me your thoughts about Vietnam and how we were winning. Then perhaps I could better understand your position.

Note: I am opening this to anyone who cites the Vietnam war as a plus for our country and its image. I would also appreciate it if those who, like me, think that this war was bad would refrain from posting until these people have a chance to post their views.

In two days I will disregard any evidence involving Vietnam unless you can convince me otherwise.

I'm not interested in any of the usual american political parties. I prefer communism myself. Don't know why exactly. It just seems the best for me.
