This post is out due to a special request. You're welcome John.

Reasons to read this post:

  1. You actually enjoy history and want a good history book or two to read.
  2. You need sources for a history project or essay
  3. you need a different perspective on history than the perspective of the Authors of TAP
  4. You like my other informational writing
  5. you like reading posts?

This is a list of history books I have read, I will describe the books (what information it has, perspective, etc.) and update it as i read new books.
Feel free to append reviews of any books you have read to my list.

A Peoples History of the United States - Howard Zinn - This is an excelent book if you want the exact opposite persective of the republican authors of TAP (The American Pageant). This book is divided into a series of short essays about different parts of history. Contains pre-revolution to current day.
