286087226	Irony	Writers and artists will often use humorous situational irony to attack their target—often to point out hypocrisy in human behavior.
286087227	Reductio ad absurdum (Reduction to the Absurd)	The writer/artist agrees enthusiastically with the basic attitudes or assumptions he or she wishes to satirize and, by pushing them to a logically ridiculous extreme, exposes the foolishness of the original attitudes and ideas.
286087228	Parody	Writers and artists will imitate another recognized style or idea in a way that draws attention to the flaw or harm they are attempting to expose
286087229	Comparison/Juxtaposition	The writer or artist juxtaposes two characters or ideas. The target of the satire is more easily exposed as madness when compared with a sensible example.
