The Birth of Venus Brunelleschi - Italian architect, celebrated for work during Florentine Renaissance. He was anti-Gothic. Foundling Hospital in Florence. Michelangelo Buonarroti - Worked in Rome. Painted the Sistine Chapel for Pope Julius II. Sculpted the statue of David.
