The mitigation of risk will include workstations, servers, updates, anti-virus software, and encryption. Workstation?s Operating System ? You will want to have the computers with Windows XP on them updated to Windows 7 Enterprise Service Pack 1. This can be achieved by using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). Updates ? Using SCCM, you will want to scan all of the workstations and servers on the network to validate they are up to date with patches. The workstations found on the network that aren?t up to date will need to be patched first by SCCM.
