Wuthering Heights Author Emily Bronte English Literature Essay Emily Bronte was born in 30 July 1818 and died in 19 December 1848. She was a British author and poet. Emily has written only one novel, Wuthering Heights, in 1847. This novel is considered to be a classic of English literature and is a classic example of Gothic literature. She published the book under the pen name Ellis Bell. She died of tuberculosis in 1848. Plot:
