"Spring Leaves" poem
Subject:
English [1]
?Spring Leaves? It is a breezy, sunny and clear day Finally, after months of patiently waiting Little green buds peek through the tips of the twigs Slowly emerging They eagerly open up to the warm sunlight And reach out, trying to capture the beams Which greets them with a light, comfortable touch New sprouts of leaves spread across branches They are flat, elliptical disks pleated along the middle Soon, the tree is completely adorned with emerald Pink, fragrant flowers pop up among the green Leaves sway and dance along with gusts of wind And sing quiet songs during a slight breeze Fresh, emerald, and little leaflets All new to the wondrous season of spring
