Words mean nothing without the stories behind them. As for the event of the Holocaust - the genocide of six million Jewish people and anyone else deemed ?undesirable?- such was miraculously survived by several hundred thousand people, many of whom lived on in silence about their horrific experiences. Yet, as time developed forward, some survivors opened up with the feeling of urgency to spread their stories. Thus, the question arises: How does one say the unspeakable? What could possibly service someone in using mere language to convey such emotions in such difficult circumstances? The answer is clearly written in repetitiveness, voiced in the modification of terminology, and delineated in allusive illustrations.
