7857362994	Andrew Johnson	He was an "accidental president" who was an ex-Tennessee Senator, and was Lincoln's vice president. He was a Southerner who did not understand the North, a Tennesseean who had never been accepted by the Republicans, and a president who had never been elected to the office. Republicans feared that Southerners might join hands with Democrats in the North and win control of Congress. If the South ran Congress, blacks might be enslaved once again. To protest, Congress passed the Civil Rights Bill, but he vetoed the bill (it was overridden by a 2/3 vote though. Congress also tried to have him impeached. The impeachment trial failed by one vote in the Senate.	0

7857362999	William Seward	Secretary of State who was responsible for purchasing Alaskan Territory from Russia. By purchasing Alaska, he expanded the territory of the country at a reasonable price.	5
