Greetings Course-noters. I guess I'll start things off by saying a little about myself. I'm a student at Southern Illinois University studying Radio/Television. I do a number of different tv shows that range from a quiz game show to a standard news show to an political-interview show to, my personal favorite a show focused on the wacky and weird. It's called alt.news 26:46 and we are always looking for something out of the ordinary to do a segment on. So if you know of anything from a bed bug exterminator to The Blue Man Group, let me know.

I love politics and history and find it absolutely fascinating how things seem to always reoccur. I mean seriously, has nobody heard of learning from past mistakes, i.e. our situations in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have our selves in way over our heads in the Middle East. You explain to me how we are going to install democracy in Iraq and I'll give you a cookie; and if you can tell me how we plan on "fighting the War on Drugs" as well as the "War on Terror" when we are in Afghanistan who gets over 85% from poppy seed which is used in not only opium, but also heroin and you just might get some milk for your cookie. We are kicking ourselves in the butt here. We are building a country up who we are going to eventually go in and attack. No wonder we are one of the, if not the, most hated country in the world. We have a horrible foreign policy.
