Quotation Analysis- Chapter 1 George- ?I could get along so easy and so nice if I didn?t have you on my tail. I could live so easy and maybe have a girl.? (P. 7) George prefers Lennie to not be in his life because Lennie is a nuisance to George whose life would be better without Lennie in it. Both. George literally means that Lennie causes him frustration. No. This quote shows that George has all the power in the friendship. Chapter 2 George- ?Listen to me, you crazy bastard,? he said fiercely, ?Don?t you even take a look at the bitch. I don?t care what she says and what she does. I seen ?em poison before, but I never seen no piece of jail bait worse than her. You leave her be.?

AP WORLD HISTORY Continuity and Change Over Time Essays A CCOT question is similar to a comparative one, the key difference being instead of comparing between two places during the same time, one is comparing between two times, often in the same place. The structure for a CCOT thesis is simpler than for a comparative thesis, but shares the following elements: 1. It is clear ? it clearly responds to the question and is on topic. 2. It is comprehensive ? it addresses the whole prompt, and 3. It is analytical ? it establishes clear categories of ?continuity? versus ?change?. Compositionally, a CCOT essay is simpler than that of a comparative essay. Your overall structure will look something like this: I. Thesis that identifies continuities versus changes

Lila Balakrishnan Ms. Badger World Studies II per. 3 6 March 2013 Short Written Response TFA Chinua Achebe created the fascinating work of Things Fall Apart which detailed the life of Okonkwo, a man of the Igbo people, as his life, and the way of his people, ?fell apart? with the coming of Christianity. A tragic hero due to his crumbling life and flawed nature, Okonkwo truly epitomizes this character type through his tragic and unnecessary death. Okonkwo?s death by trying to show his people how they were losing their culture was truly in vain and as such, affected the work differently.
