Help! Not learning anything, and I'm a few weeks in Bio AP

Okay, well my teacher is nice and all, but I'm learning nothing from her lectures.
I generally tried my best to read the books and all, and they're pretty good, but I guess it's not enough b/c I'm getting D's and C's on my tests..

and I guess it's cos my teacher doesn't really explain much, but I guess that's how things go in a typical Bio AP class.. so as a junior, I'm pretty much lost at this point.

And, it's too late for me to transfer to another class unless I flunk the semester or something. And that's something I don't want to do :(

Hmmm, well biology is mostly memorization. Do you know if the reason you're missing questions is because you never saw it or because you didn't know enough information about the subjects? Maybe you could try a different way of studying, like taking notes differently, or try a study group perhaps...
