Katherine Kerr Art History 9/18/13 Ms. Freeman Red Disaster by Andy Warhol When visiting the Museum of Fine Art, Boston, One would probably not head straight to the contemporary art wing. Some don?t even know that the contemporary wing is no longer under construction and open to the public. However, amid the numerous beeping sounds of people standing too close to art, or simply being ignorant of the fact that what stands before them is not trash that someone had left in the exhibit, there hangs 12 silkscreened pictures with an important message on a red background stark against a white wall.
