After I took the PSAT sophomore year I started getting a few letters from colleges, the general tone being, "Hey, you did pretty good on the PSAT. Come look at our college!" I was thinking it was pretty cool. Who doesn't love getting letters addressed to them? As long as they're not bills, that is. Junior year I took the PSAT again, the ACT and the SAT, and I did pretty well on all three. All of a sudden, there is college mail everywhere, from colleges I've never even heard of!

In most high schools, there is a policy toward student-athletes that is commonly called the 50-50 policy. That means that if you're involved in a school sport and another activity such as show choir which has after school events, you spend half of your time playing your sport, and half doing your other activity. This policy seems rather ineffective to me, since you will likely fall behind in both activities, but it is completely useless when it comes to club sports.

Need Notes?
While we strive to provide the most comprehensive notes for as many high school textbooks as possible, there are certainly going to be some that we miss. Drop us a note and let us know which textbooks you need. Be sure to include which edition of the textbook you are using! If we see enough demand, we'll do whatever we can to get those notes up on the site for you!
