"Why go to college?" ,as I am sure some of you reading this article are asking yourself. Some of you are probably asking, "Can't I just get a job after highschool like my dad and grandpa did?" Unfortunately, the times have changed. Along with our economy and our unemployment rates. The importance of going to college and earning at least a bachelor's degree I can not stress enough. You need to remain focused on your ultimate goals in high school. With all of the excitement and distractions it is easy to lose sight of them. Many students find themselves saying,"Well, I'll just raise my GPA next year...". What they don't realize is that it takes double the work to do this.
