Activity Series of Metal Lydia Dobransky, Kush Patel, Kunj Patel, Owen Shea, Max Mizrahi, Isabella Wetherington Purpose: In this laboratory you will be testing the relative reactivity of metals and rank the elements in order of decreasing reactivity. Procedure: Each station will have all the solutions necessary Place a small sample of the metal in one spot of the well plate Add 5-10 drops of the solution. Observe if there is a reaction and label the result on the table Place another metal sample in a different spot of the well plate and repeat step 3 Keep repeating steps 2-3 until you react the metal with all solutions on that station Move to the next station and repeat steps for all solutions.
