Brutus and Cassius are two characters incredibly similar in their desires, but vastly different morally and emotionally. Brutus is someone I would consider to have more moral fiber than Cassius, who is manipulative and considerably evil. Not to mention emotionally they are on completely different levels, this and a multitude of other differences makes it incredible that their relationship as partners remained so constant. The fact that the two shared a common goal keeps these two contrasting characters together despite there differences.
