We have to write a generic college essay for english. I'm actually going to use this for a college application so please help.

I remember back in first grade when we were assigned the task of drawing a picture of what we wanted to do when we were older. Being a six year old, I chose to draw something I loved and that was pizza. I absolutely loved pizza as a kid. If my parents would have let me I would have eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. So it made sense for me to want to own a restaurant and make pizza. I figured it was the perfect job; I could make my own pizza when ever I wanted.
Through the years I have changed career ideas multiple times. I’ve gone from pizza maker to fashion designer to teacher before finally deciding what I would like to do with my future. I have decided to become a pharmacist; specifically I would like to work as a pharmaceutical researcher, working in a lab to discover new medications. It is a career that combines two of my favorite things: science and problem solving.
My love of science began in middle school and has grown immensely ever since. I have been fortunate enough over the years to have teachers that have encouraged me to explore the field of science. In high school, I took my first chemistry class and I loved every minute of it. I would look forward to every lab day we had. My sense of curiosity was fueled by the lab classes as I mixed chemicals together and waited for the results. I loved chemistry so much that I decided to take AP Chemistry the following year. And surprisingly enough, I loved the AP course more. The labs in AP chemistry were so much more intense than they were in regular chemistry, but that is what made it so much more fun.
Looking back at my decision to become a pharmacist, it encompasses so many aspects of my life. As long as I can remember I have be exposed to the healthcare field, my mother as a nurse and my father as an account. I have always had a strong sense of curiosity that is satisfied by solving problems during lab experiments. It is a decision that I feel comfortable with and I look forward to a satisfying career.

Thank You!!!
