Why GT over MIT you ask?
Well, for one there's the money. Hope scholarship pays for tuition as long as you keep a B average which is very nice. Plus other reasons along the lines of contact and friendliness and effort and all that. And yes, for enginneering it basically goes like this:
1. MIT
2. Cal Tech
3. GT
And of course it also depends on what you want to major in.
And that jazz band sounds like major fun...

Congrats, pianogirl! That's really great that you were accepted into MIT.
I swear that I really DO enjoy living in AK, but it's days like this when I want to say, screw it all, and move to the Lower 48. I thought that breakup was going to actually HAPPEN, but today we got about an inch of snow! I like winter, but this is a little too much. Really! Mumble, mumble, gripe, gripe...
