Is there a difference between IB Psychology and AP psychology?

YES, there is considerable difference. AP covers a wide variety of topics...IB requires more indepth investigation of fewer topics. Also, a paper is required. IB Psych is divided into two levels--SL and HL. You have to take SL first...then HL for a total of two years.

You may want to check w/ your prospective college for credit options.

Both are good classes...different in scope.

BIG DIFFERENCE.

1. AP is mostly terms and applications.

2. IB is about the psychologists, their studies, and results, ...

at my school, we take ap psych sophomore year and then ib psych jr. year.

they're are NOT the same class.
IB tends to be more in depth than AP, and somewhat more challenging.

I think that all depends on how your classes are taught by your teachers. For example, I had a really good AP psych teacher and almost the entire class got 5s on the test because she taught the class extremely well and we learned a lot of information that most AP psych students wouldn't.
