And I gotta say, it really wasnt that bad! Even with getting all 4 teeth pulled and one of them was severely impacted (it was perpendicular to the molar next to it haha), I only used the prescription pain meds for the first day. After that, I just used a regular tylenol or motrin as needed. I'm still eating mostly mac and cheese and soup though :( The biggest annoyance is the fact that I can't go to the gym for a week because the dentist said the wounds need to heal completely before do any strenuous physical activity so the wounds don't open up :(
Anyone have some horror stories about getting their wisdom teeth pulled?

hahaha...oh wow, that is going to add to my list of wisdom teeth stories...i have to take mine out in february so woopee...hahah!
but when my friend took his 4 wisdom teeth out, he stayed home for like a month...he said he puffed up like a blowup fish and he barely did anything but lay and rest...so yeah, he didn't go to school or go out for awhile...but after his gone missing episode, he was back to normal again...
yet, when my sister took hers out, she went shopping an hour after taking them out and she wasn't puffed up or in pain or anything...she did eat alot of soup though. but yeah, she didn't take meds after that hour actually...she was all back to normal...except for the only soup eating bit...
so hahaha, there were some stories i know, and i won't be able to tell you mine until february! hahah!

Mine weren't that bad, either--but I did stay on the pain meds for a bit longer than you. I think the most pain I had was from the thing they used to hold open my mouth instead of the loss of teeth.
Best part though was renting all the movies that only make sense when you're on drugs, and actually being able to understand them! Let me tell you, watch Yellow Submarine when you're on pain meds. It's hilarious! Also, the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movies are even better when you get drugged up...

Oh man! You were the person in the videos that they talked about :( I'm sorry! That was the thing that had me worried.
Do you know if you'll be getting feeling back? They say sometimes it just takes a really long time.
