Caroline Doran 9/30/15 Ms. Ferrara Basic Music H Bad Blood By Taylor Swift This song is about two people who are partners in crime and then Taylor Swift?s partner, Selena Gomez, turns on her and does bad things to her and so now they have bad blood between them. Seven Musical Elements Rhythm- Steady pulse, four beats per measure, it has a medium tempo but accelerates (accelerando) during some parts and gets slower (ritardando) at times. Tone- Taylor swift is a mezzo soprano and instruments played in Bad Blood are the drums, keyboard, and a bass guitar Melody/ Pitch- The pitch ranges from high to low depending on the part of the song. Dynamics-The song starts off in piano and crescendos throughout the song and then decrescendos.
