Han Dynasty and Roman Empire

Many comparisons can be made between the Romans and the Han dynasty when looking at government, as well as society. These two empires had very different values and beliefs, but shared some perspectives as well.

Neurodegenerative Diseases are described by a progressive loss of bodily functions. Different diseases have different symptoms; Alzheimer?s is characterized by the loss of memory while Parkinson?s, by rigid muscles. Such diseases do not have cures and treatments are limited. Researchers are desperate to find a cure for these diseases that affect millions of people today. Among those that are studied, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig?s disease has become one of the most widely researched. It is an adult-onset disease that targets the motor neurons of the body.

Acoording to chinese resources in the year 160 ce.Geography: Han China was based in Central, Eastern China.

the Roman Empire ran a ring around the Mediterranean and the British Isles.

Origins: the Roman Empire was founded after Augustus Caesar seized power from the Roman Senate.

The Han Empire was founded when Liu Pang with his rebel army defeated Hsiang Liang and Hsiang Yu and conquered China.

Population: At the peak of the Han Dynasty, there was around 50 million people living in the Imperial boundaries.
