Chapter 7: Human Memory.

There are two types of memory, one for general info & memory for personal events called semantic and episodic memory.

- Encoding: involves forming a memory code & getting info in.
Storage: involves maintaining encoded information in memory over time.
Retrieval: involves recovering information from memory stores.

Both clay and Adams were nationalists who sponsored roads, canals, and education, which were powers that strengthened the Federal government

Kursk Submarine Tragedy

The Kursk, one of Russian?s newest cruise missile submarines, had sunk on August 14, 2000.

The type of the missile submarine was called the type 949a ?Antey? class by the Russians.

It was intended to attack and destroy an aircraft carrier battle group, by using torpedoes, and short range sea skimming cruise missiles.

Investigators are not positive about how it happened.
