Whats the best way to study for a Test?

I have a average of 66% on my AP US History tests. I take the pratice tests/quizes, and study all my notes. WE are on chapter 32 at the moment, so i need to finsh the year strong. Can anyone help? Any suggestions, or ideas are appriated.
