Summarizing years 1770, 1852, 1914, and 1918 - missing anything?

We're doing a worksheet for class and I was assigned the years 1770, 1852, 1914, and 1918 to summarize main events. Here's what I plan on doing. Do you suggest anything else?

1770 (under american revolution)
Boston Massacre (including after effects)

1852 (sectionalism, civil war, and reconstruction)
election

1918 (wars in am history)
14 points
Midterm Elections
Paris Peace Conference
Nov 11 - war ends

1914 (business enterprise in am)
actually, i'm not exactly sure what 'business enterprise' would mean, so if somebody could explain what they're asking for?

Thanks for any help.
