Alright, my AP class is having a project whee there are 4 different groups and each groups receives a question, and must write a 3 page essay on it.

My group got the...

"Was the constitution as written in 1789, a democratic document?"

Now we have establish, or the opinion that we are taking, is that it was NOT a democratic document.

So what do you (the reader) think? Is it or is it not a democratic document? And why/ why not? (Please have sources if u respond)

We has info on the electoral college, Anti-Feds, No Bill of Right, Supreme Court, Presidential terms of election, people that actually vote, and minority vs majority.
