I can't make it stick!

I read, I take notes, I answer practice questions, flashcards, you name it and I've done it. I just can't reatin it. Midterms killed me. I felt like I forgot everything. If this is the case I don't know how I'll be able to get a 4 or 5 on the Ap exam. can anyone help me?
