Should I skip AP Calc AB?

Before I say anything else, is it possible to skip AP Calc AB and go into BC? From what I know AB is not a prerequisite for BC. If I can't skip AB then I apologize for this post.

I'm basically pretty solid in pre-calculus right now (99+ averages and I don't think I've gotten a lower than an A on all the tests). I've worked with some calculus in AP Physics B after the AP Exam (my teacher is teaching some Physics C material) and limits, derivates, and integrals seem to be pretty fun.

I really enjoy math, but my only concern is if jumping into Calc BC without taking Calc AB is too big of a jump. I heard that the first semester of Calc BC is a review of Calc AB except at a faster pace or do they expect me to have knowledge from Calc AB?

Thank you for your help, input and suggestions.
