So I have to pick a topic that made an impact on Ameircan Society or public opinion at the time it was released(has to be in the 2000's).

I then have to pick out strong pictures and explain my project through visual aid. The only problem I'm having is that I can't find a good topic to expound upon. It has been a few days and I've tried to pick out pictures about the Drought in the West, but that isn't powerful enough. I've been trying to aviod 9/11 and political campaigns due to lack of creativity. Do you guys have any ideas?
