610 AD At age 40, Muhammad has spiritual experiences that led him to believe that Allah was the one true God
619 AD Muhammad’s wife and uncle die; many of his enemies saw this event as a chance to strike
622 AD Marks the beginning of the religious faith of Islam and its rising empire
