Sam Houston- He was the first and third President of the Republic of Texas, Senator for Texas after it joined the United States, and finally governor. Antonio Lopez De Santa Anna- He was a Mexican political leader, general and President of Mexico. William Barrett Travis- He was the Texas commander at the Battle of the Alamo. James Bowie- He was a soldier who fought in the Battle of Concepcion and in the Grass Fight. Anson Jones- He was a doctor, businessman, congressman, the fourth and last President of Republic of Texas Juan Seguin- He was a soldier who gave massages from Texas to Mexico. Robert E. Lee- He was a soldier in the U.S. Army for thirty-two years. Ulysses S. Grant- He was the 18th President of the United States.
