Differences between World History book editions

Does anybody know if there is much of a difference between the AP world history book "The World and Its Peoples" 3rd and 4th editions? The reason is that I found a pdf of the 3rd edition, but my class uses the 4th edition. Would it be ok to use the 3rd edition?
