Propaganda Essay Daniel Nunez Period 2: AP Art H. Throughout history the thoughts of artists, politicians, and governments have intertwined to make visual representations of their views appealing to the common people. In time propaganda?s goal has never changed, to convince the common people of an ideal or philosophy portrayed by the artist. The works of Slave Ship by William Turner and Illustration from The Results of the First Five-Year plan by Varvara Stepanova, are two crucial works that clearly display propaganda of political and humanitarian conflicts.
