Disecting "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost
"Nothing Gold Can Stay"
" Nature's first greeen is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Teh leaf subsides to leaf.
So eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
This is one of Frost smallest poems, yet is jam packed with information.
Lets break it down by line, plus litterally and figruative.
First line mentions nature and how it is freash,new and good literally. Figuravtivlly green is hope meanignthat it is something that is persiocus and lovely that one wants to have.
Second line: basiclly that it is hard to hold and cherish this Nature because it can go away and nature is personifed.
