I Am From Poem
Sydney Richter Ms. Paine AP English 3 P.2 August 19, 2013 I Am From I am from the mother?s nurturing womb The legitimate child to a mother of two One bold and high in personal confidence The other shy and humble Each creating their own path in life I am from the cat?s cursed end For curiosity for them is said to kill An adoration of learning is what shapes me What makes most others look And think me to be peculiar I am from my grandmother?s influence A constant drive to keep the mind healthy A kind and passionate woman Loving the classics of her time And me even more I am from a painting easel and the writer?s desk Finding self-expression in a way all my own The pen and brush being my mightiest weapons Mine to wield and do my will And always willing to improve my skill
