Nobody knows what happened to the colonists, they just disappeared. Anglo-Powhatan Wars: These wars destroyed relations with the Native Americans. After John Wolfe was killed the colonists lost all hope of peace and friendship. The colonists even went as far as sending them blankets infected with smallpox, a disease that the Native American?s couldn?t fight off. The colonists would also burned down villages, steal food, rape the women and they even killed. After all of this the remaining Powhatan moved west.
