?Neutrality Act 1935- This act was pushed by Roosevelt in 1935 to keep the US out of the war. The US was not supposed to have a side in the new emerging conflicts and could not engage in weapons trades with the nations at war. This also took away the right of citizens to travel on war sided ships. The US did not want to lose its dominance in oil and gave up the ability to affect other foreign policies. This proved that pre- WWII, the US, was not very imperialist. They did not want to concur, win, or control the world platform without fixing domestic issues. This set up a framework for the US in the years?
