Sinclair was an American author, who lived from 1878 to 1968, in 1912, he was 34 years old. He was the muckraking Journalist who, in 1906, exposed the conditions in the American Meat packing Industry with his novel The Jungle. In 1920 and in 1922, he ran for the House of Representatives and the Senate respectively, because of the fact that he ran as a socialist, he is a much better candidate for the assassination of Roosevelt, as he could have been against his foreign policies.
