In most schools, students are allowed to choose their schedules, and choose classes that they would like to take on in the following year. Now when creating this schedule, one needs to know their limitations, and what is expected of them.

Volunteer work is an activity that all should participate in, especially in their high school years. It has many positive effects on the present and the future, as well as the possibility of changing a person’s outlook. There are many places and opportunities to volunteer, and if it is at all possible, try to volunteer at a location that is similar to what you will be doing in the future, for example if you are interested in the medical field, try and volunteer at the hospital, if you are interested in the veterinarian career, volunteer at the animal shelter.

Taking advance placement classes, also known as AP, is a very important decision during your high school career. Before a person makes this choice, they need to understand the benefits, and what an advance placement class is. An advance placement class is a large commitment, it is a college level class, and will provide college level work. These classes will be hard work, whether you take one or five, it will be a challenge, and one needs to be prepared. Before taking an AP class, they must first be chosen.
