Yeoman

Hi guys, I'm new to Course-notes. My name is Flower, hence the screen name. Ok, so I'm using the American Pageant like so many of you. My problem is that i have a homework assignemt wheere I'm supposed to descibe, and state the historical significance of a few words. I'm having such trouble with these:

Yeoman:

Nation-state

Keep in mind that I do know what they mean, I'm just not sure about the importance. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Flower
